• Dr. Zhiqiang Gao, is invited to give a Tutorial Workshop on Control System Design  in the 10^th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA) in Beijing, China. The title of the workshop is “Control System Design: From Concepts to Practice”.

World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation is a congress aims at providing a forum for Chinese scholars all over the world to present their achievements in the fields of control and automation. Nine WCICA congresses have been held successfully every two years, attracting the scientists all over the world to participate and present their achievements. The 10th World Congress on Intelligent Control and Automation (WCICA 2012) will be held in Beijing, China, from July 6 to 8, 2012.

• Dr. Gao, has been invited to give a short course on Advanced Control for Italian Ph.D. students at The Polytechnic University of Turin (Italian: Politecnico di Torino, POLITO). The name of the course is Control System Design: From Concepts to Practice. The course will be delivered in July, 2010.

The Polytechnic University of Turin is an engineering university based in Turin, northern Italy. Established in 1859, Politecnico di Torino is Italy’s oldest Technical University. It is also regarded as one of the best Universities worldwide in its field. It's ranked 1st in Italy and top 50 in the world.
